Our Story

The English Ministry of Bucks County Presbyterian Church was formed in 2003 and since then it has been our desire to grow together in the gospel across generational and cultural differences. Our ministry consists of English speaking members of a Korean-American church, but we believe that God wants to expand His Kingdom in our specific setting and community with gospel-centered unity in our diversity. Our vision is to see a church united in love for God and for the message of the gospel to impact the lives of believers and unbelievers alike. We will continue to pursue these goals by offering our lives as worship unto the Lord, by growing in the knowledge of His Word and His Son, and by sharing the gospel through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our church is a part of the Philadelphia Presbytery of the denomination (KAPC – Korean American Presbyterian Church) which is a member of the North American Presbyterian & Reformed Council (NAPARC).
Our Staff

Pastor Peter Pak
Lead Pastor

Pastor Peter started serving at Bucks County Presbyterian Church as a worship leader in college around 2004. Unbeknownst to him, he would go on to attend Westminster Theological Seminary and continue to serve in various contexts at BCPC. He is an ordained minister of the Word in the KAPC, and by God’s grace he was called to lead the English Ministry in the beginning of 2016. Pastor Peter and his wife are parents to two wonderful boys, and they continue to lean on the Lord’s guidance and vision for their family and ministry. They are excited to continue to serve the BCPC community.

Our Beliefs

As part of the Korean American Presbyterian Church, we adhere to the reformed tradition and to the twelve articles of  The Creed of the Korean American Presbyterian Church as our Confession of Faith. We believe these twelve articles are a summary of the teachings of Scripture and also the Westminster Standards (the Confession of Faith, Larger and Shorter Catechism).
